‘We Thoroughly Reject the Way Washington Is Run’

The GetMoneyOut was a pure, simple idea to remove money from federal elections, regardless of place of origin, so that our representatives could vote their conscious, not vote to repay their sponsors and to insure their re-election.  United Republic has changed this goal to restraining certain people like Rove, Kochs, Trumps, etc.(those people who fund Republicans), rather then going after the BIG issue of getting ALL money out, whether union money, Rove PACs or casino benefactors.  The original plan espoused by Dylan Ratigan was noble (and had more than 300K signers); United is just one more political ploy.
