We offered some well-intentioned people real money to compromise their ideals and “get elected.” Just like a good politician, they did it in a heartbeat.
Our wiley friends at SofaPundit are at it again. This time, they joined us at GreenFestival to help prove that no matter what issue you care about, you can’t win unless you get money out of politics. Whether the environment is your issue or not, we think you’ll enjoy watching these well-intentioned environmentalists compromise to win money.
We gave volunteers at GreenFestival the chance to grab real money in our money booth. That’s right. Real dollar bills. Just like elected officials, when the money started flying around, they started grabbing at it like children under a piñata.
What did they have to do to earn the chance? Just like our elected officials in Washington, they just had do compromise on the things that matter to them the most.
