Free Speech For People is a national non-partisan campaign, launched on the day of the US Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United v. FEC, to press for a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution to overturn the ruling and restore democracy to the people. The organization is working to pass resolutions in the states in support of a constitutional amendment, to push back in the courts against the doctrine of corporate personhood, to enlist business community support across the country for an amendment, and to use the power to revoke a corporate charter when a corporation has repeatedly violated the law.
